L DISTANCE – The CLASSIC

The classic at the Chiemgau Trail Run – at May 11, 2024.
Together we start the new trail running season 2024 on May 11th at 8 a.m. in the center of Marquartstein. The closed federal road is crossed, the pedestrian zone (old start and finish area) is passed and it goes through Altmarquartstein, past Marquartstein Castle up into the first section of the forest. On the first “flowy” trails this year you will run toward the Vorderalm. The first aid station awaits you before Schnappenkirche. After the fast downhill, combined with forest roads and technical trails/climbing, you run through Marquartstein again. The audience in the start-finish area actively cheers you on; you gather strength and energy for another ascent to the Hochplatte. You are on the same route as the runners of the half marathon distance. The last ascent to the Hochplatte requires full concentration again. Once at the top, another 360-degree all-round view awaits!
